Shaun Spector is a seasoned litigator who has been practicing law in South Florida since 2010. He is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Shaun completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences. During law school at the the University of Miami, he took an active role in the school community, serving as a member of the Honor Council and volunteering with several different organizations through UM’s community service program, H.O.P.E.

After graduating from law school, Shaun began his career representing plaintiffs in wage and hour disputes and discrimination claims at a labor and employment firm. From there, he moved on to a mid-sized, multidisciplinary firm where he represented corporate clients at all stages of commercial and general civil litigation. Shaun then accepted a position as in-house counsel for a financing company, where he advised on matters of compliance and served as head of litigation. In 2017, Shaun decided to open his own firm, and established the Law Offices of Shaun Spector, PLLC. The firm performs outside general counsel work for small businesses and represents both, plaintiffs and defendants, in a variety of commercial disputes.

Shaun’s volunteer work for the city of Miami reflects his strong desire to serve the community that he’s called home for the majority of his adult life. He was appointed to the City of Miami Community Relations Board in early 2019, where he served until being appointed to the Code Enforcement and Nuisance Abatement boards, on which he currently serves as Vice-Chair.

Shaun hopes to couple his well-rounded perspective of the legal profession through the lens of both, attorney and business owner with his commitment to public service to continue serving the citizens of Miami-Dade County.
